The PROTEA Security Training is predominantly staffed by former Special Forces personnel, all of whom have been carefully selected to ensure they have extensive experience, appropriate operational expertise in hostile environments and the educational qualifications to effectively teach the specialist skills required by clients. Our training courses include the following:
- NOCN Level Two Award in Door Supervision
This course has been designed by Skills for Security to assist companies in the provision of basic job training and to develop a uniform standard across the industry.
- NOCN Level Two Award in Security Guarding (Static and Patrol)
This course has been designed by Skills for Security to assist companies in the provision of basic job training and to develop a uniform standard across the industry.
- Physical Intervention
Physical intervention skills may be needed in some workplaces to manage challenging behaviour safely.
- Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
This course covers the practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace.
- First Aid at Work (FAW)
Employers have an obligation under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and Approved Code of Practice (ACOP L74) to make adequate and appropriate First Aid Provision for their workforce.
- Basic Weapons Awareness & Recognition
This course has been designed by Skills for Security to promote safety and to prevent injury and loss of life by getting students to "think differently" about weapons.
